Alan Mendelson & Hi I'll keep it short and sweet. Ordered a wide shoe, they look and feel like a non-wide shoe even though it says it is on the box. Stitching is very bad. All around, not a good shoe. Had to return them.

I bought a pair of these about a week ago for when I go to LDAC this summer, unboxed these, wore them a round to make sure they fit, and took them on a 4 mile run the next day to help break in. not a single blister or hot spot. these are also some of the most comfortable boots i've ever worn. I wear a 9 running shoes and wear these in a 9 and with the thick cushion Thorlo socks, they fit perfectly for me in this combo. some people have complained about it not having speed laces but they take me an extra 5 seconds to tighten. so far they've felt amazing, I'll see how they feel after training

Alan Mendelson & Hi I just got a pair of Sorel Men's Caribou boots. They are awesome. Very warm and comfortable to walk in. They fit high up on the calves, so deeper snow is not a problem. They are roomy, if you are not sure about size, wear thick socks and you should be OK, so you don't have to get a smaller size.
